Second to the problenm of refrigerators not cooling, noise is the most common issue reported by consumers. Home appliance manufacturers could endeavour to control the quality of component noise during the research and development and production stages to minimize its occurrence.

Method of Evaluation:

RoMA is deployed under actual operating conditions to capture background noise as well as refrigerator noise. It is observed that the refrigerator noise is prominent in the mid-to-low frequency range.
