Test Object:High-speed Fan
Application Scenario:Noise Test
Challenges:
The motor speed of a hair dryer can reach up to 100,000rpm, resulting in loud aerodynamic noise coupled with structure-borne vibrations. When the hair dryer is placed close to the human ear, abnormal sounds generated by the appliance could irritate.
Method of Evaluation:
The noise generated by revolving rotor blades running at high speeds can reach up to 20kHz. Using RoMA for broadband data acquisition and analysis, it can be observed that, when comparing normal and abnormal test objects, the abnormal noise is a single-frequency noise at low frequency.
